The problem

Extra work you never bill is money you already spent.

  • The verbal go-ahead in the hallway that nobody remembers at billing time.
  • The carbon-copy T&M pad that's in the truck, half-filled-out, or soaked.
  • The change order you meant to write up Friday… three Fridays ago.
  • The end-of-job fight over extras with no signatures and no photos.

Just take care of it — we'll square up at the end.

— every superintendent, on every job, right before an extra goes unbilled
How it works

From "go ahead" to signed ticket in minutes.

1

Write it where it happened

Tap the mic and describe the work in your own words. Add labor with your saved rates (OT bills at 1.5× automatically), quick-add common materials, snap photos of the work and the direction. Markup and tax are calculated for you.

2

Hand the super your phone

A clean, professional ticket with your company name and license on it. The super signs right on the screen — name, title, date, and time stamped on the ticket. No more "I never approved that."

3

Watch the job total climb

Every ticket lands in that job's log with a running unbilled extras total — signed and unsigned tracked separately. Print any ticket to PDF, or print the whole extra-work log and hand it to the GC at billing time.

Built for the field

Everything the T&M pad does, plus everything it can't.

Signature on the spot

On-screen signature pad with signer name, title, and timestamp printed on the ticket.

Clean up the wording

Thumb in rough notes and tap Clean up — you get a description a GC won't argue with. It tightens what you wrote and never invents work, hours, or approvals.

💰

Every job on one screen

What you're owed across all your jobs, and which signatures are going stale — before the extra gets argued about.

🎤

Dictate the work

Talk instead of type. Your description lands in the ticket while the details are still fresh.

📷

Photo evidence

Attach photos of the work and the direction — they print right on the ticket.

🧮

Math that's always right

Straight time, OT at 1.5×, equipment, markup, and sales tax — totaled correctly, every ticket.

📋

The extra-work log

One printable page per job — every ticket, what's signed, what's been billed, and what the GC still owes you. Exports to Excel too.

📶

Works with no signal

Basements, cores, parking garages — the app works offline and saves everything on your phone.

🔒

Your data stays yours

No accounts, no cloud, nothing to hack. Tickets live on your device, with job-file backups you control.

Set up once

Company, license, billing rates, and markup saved in settings — every new ticket is prefilled.

📱

No app store

Runs in the browser. Add it to your home screen and it looks and works like a native app.

👷

Built by a commercial electrician, not a software company.

FieldTicket exists because I got tired of doing extra work on a handshake and arguing about it at billing time. It's the ticket I always wished I had in my pocket: fast enough to use while the super is standing there, and formal enough that nobody argues with it later.

Coming soon

This is just the start.

FieldTicket is built by a tradesman who uses it on real jobs — and the roadmap comes from the field, not a boardroom.

Coming soon

Team sync

Tickets written in the field show up at the office instantly. Every crew, every job, one running total of what the GCs owe.

Coming soon

Remote signature links

Super already left the site? Text them a link and they sign from their own phone. No excuses left.

Coming soon

Direct QuickBooks sync

Signed tickets flow straight into your invoicing. Today you export a spreadsheet the office can import; next it lands there on its own.

Founding customer deal: everyone who buys FieldTicket Pro now keeps today's price for life — every feature above included as it lands, no upcharge, ever.
Questions

Straight answers.

Do my tickets live in the cloud?

No. Everything is saved on your phone — no account, no server, nothing to get breached. You can export a job file anytime as a backup or to move a job to another device. (Cloud sync for whole crews is on the roadmap.)

Does it work with no cell signal?

Yes. After the first visit the app loads and runs completely offline. Write tickets in the basement; they're saved locally either way.

Is this only for electricians?

It was built by an electrician, so the quick-add material list leans electrical — but labor, equipment, markup, tax, signatures, and the job log work exactly the same for mechanical, plumbing, drywall, or any sub doing directed extra work. Every line item is free-typed, so nothing locks you to one trade.

Will a GC actually accept these tickets?

The printed ticket shows your company, license, the work description, itemized labor and material, photos, and the super's signature with a timestamp. That's more documentation than a carbon-copy pad has ever produced. Most billing disputes die the moment a signed, photographed ticket shows up.

How does the unlock code work?

The second your payment goes through you land on a page with your unlock code and a button that opens the app already unlocked — no typing it in, no waiting on an email. Save the code somewhere; you'll want it if you set the app up on a second phone. No account to create, and it keeps working offline. Pro is $99 a year and renews annually; cancel anytime from the receipt Stripe emails you.

What happens to my tickets if I lose my phone?

Tap "Save job file" inside any job to download a backup file — keep it in your email or drive. Load it on any device and the whole job comes back, signatures and all.

The next extra is coming.
Be ready before the super walks away.

3 free tickets. No signup. Works on the phone already in your pocket.
